Student Perceptions of an Interprofessional Clinical Simulation Event

Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterpeer-review

Abstract

Interprofessional practice and clinical simulation are used throughout all healthcare curricula to optimize patient care. We sought to determine the student perspectives of an IPE clinical simulation event that included students from DO, PA, Pharmacy, and Athletic Training programs. Our findings demonstrate that combining IPE and clinical simulation is an effective method to improve communication and teamwork skills in academic healthcare programs.
