Abstract
Interprofessional practice and cultural competence are essential to optimize patient care and are foundational tenants of medical education programs regardless of profession. We sought to determine the impact of a single-day IPE event with a focus on cultural competence of students enrolled in DO, Pharmacy, and Athletic Training programs perceptions of their abilities of interprofessional practice and cultural competence. Our findings demonstrate improved perceptions in both interprofessional practice and cultural competence.
