Personal profile
Research interests
Dr. Klukkert's primary research focus is on the functional anatomy and mechanics of feeding among non-human primates. Through this lens, he studies evolutionary patterns that contributed to the biodiversity of the order and also helps to understand the paleobiology of extinct species. Dr. Klukkert is particularly interested in the habitats and ecological roles of recently-extinct primates and associated fauna sampled from flooded cave sites in the Caribbean and Madagascar.
