Research Interests

Dr. Meek’s research is centered around the organization and function of the cytoskeleton in normal cell functions and application to wound healing and flagellar movement. Cell culture, transmission electron microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy are techniques utilized in these studies. Research on education topics related to the anatomical sciences of gross anatomy, embryology, histology, and neurosciences are also pursued.
