Vivian Stevens, PhD is a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago Medical School/University of Health Sciences and completed her internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center/Veteran Affairs Medical Center Consortium in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Stevens teaches in the undergraduate medical curriculum and in the Psychiatry Residency and Family Medicine Residency Programs. After serving in an administrative capacity for a decade, Dr. Stevens transitioned back to a full-time faculty appointment in 2017. She currently focuses her interests in the areas of student/physician wellness, positive psychology, behavioral medicine, and physician-patient communication skills. Her hobbies include cycling in the great outdoors, yoga, and dancing.
