Research Interests
Research in my laboratory is focused on the cell envelope physiology of opportunistically pathogenic gram-negative bacteria representing nosocomial, community-acquired, and endogenous etiologies. We are particularly interested in the contribution of outer membrane impermeability to intrinsic antibacterial resistance mechanisms.
