Dr. Warren earned his Doctorate from DePaul University, and holds a Master of Science degree from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Nebraska-Kearney. He holds several added qualifications and credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist; Corrective Exercise Specialist; and manual therapy techniques such as myofascial decompression, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Positional Release Therapy, Dry Needling, joint manipulation, and muscle energy techniques. He is an instructor of manual therapy techniques and leads professional development workshops to practicing clinicians.
Research interests
Dr. Warren’s research explores patient-centered outcomes and the efficacy of manual therapies in the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction, and force characteristics of muscle in response to stretching and fatigue. My recent work has explored alterations in musculotendinous stiffness, perfusion, and the architectural and myokine responses in soft tissue in response to manual therapies.
